Social Networking for Your Pooch – Pawspot.com

Can you watch my dog? Somerville based Pawspot.com is a social networking site for pets and their owners. The difference with Pawspot is that the site aims to be more of a resource for pet owners rather than a “build the biggest meaningless friend list” application. Pawspot is billing it’s social networking model as a way to connect dog owners for pet sitting, good dog walks, info on vets and other topics that would be important.

Pawspot is a free service that is currently in beta, although I did not see any ads on the current site. If you have pets, go sign-up!

The site was covered by TechCrunch, ValleyWag (a small dig actually) and The Skinny.
