Who Says East Coast Startups Can’t Get Funding - Tech Blog Lands an A-Round?

Xconomy, the Cambridge-based tech blog, just landed their series-A funding led by CommonAngels (undisclosed amount). Bob Buderi emailed me the news earlier today and wrote a funny piece about the funding on the site this morning.
For all of those people that think your east-coast startup is not getting funding because of location, I guess Nabeel Hyatt is right. If a tech-blog can land the dollars and your startup can not…your idea must suck! =)
Congratulation to Bob and all of the folks a Xconomy!
Bob, how much do you think 93south could get these days?

Disclaimer…I’ve done my own share of east-coast self-bashing recently but I have recently changed my perspective based on the activity that seems to bubbling in the market lately.

David,
Thanks for your post and kind words of congratulations! 93South is, of course, priceless, and it would be impossible to attach a dollar figure to it.
