Announcements on 93South

Twitter

Ah yes, I am afraid I have become one of those blogs that goes blank for awhile and drops out of date.  My post on Webinno 18 was so stunning and hard hitting that I needed to keep it up for 4 months straight!

Exciting.

Where have I been?  It’s this crazy bird blogging thing that keeps me going and seems so much more captivating.  It seems so much easier, and lot more fun at times, to drop one liners on my army of unsuspecting and unwilling tweeps than it is to explore the details of the latest Boston Web 2.0 startup.

After all;  When you Tweet, The world Tweets back.  When you blog…maybe not so much.

The real story is actually quite simple. I’ve got a job.

However, I do miss testing local startups and getting their stories out.  I also have a long list of 93profiles to get posted on the site (sorry to those who I have missed so far).  I just might get this party started again soon.  I would also be open to getting a few other local bloggers to join in on the party.  Any takers?

In the meantime, follow me on Twitter.

fb_ring I guess it is a whole new world – it used to be the norm to have your parents post the news of your engagement (no…this is not a post about Facebook user engagement) in the local newspaper but not anymore.  I logged into my neglected Facebook account to find the engagement announcement of 2 close friends Steve and Katerina!

The couple purposely publicized the announcement of their engagement through Facebook as the easiest way to spread the news.  Here is the question – what is the most unexpected item that you found out about on Facebook (or other social site)?

I will save my "top-10 new things to announce on Facebook" for another post and just say congratulations!
